3-year-old boy from China goes viral for breakdancing

Beng Beng, a 3-year-old boy from China, is going viral for his breakdancing. He was the youngest competitor in the Second National Street Dance Championship held in Changsha, Hunan Province. The young dancer ultimately placed 140th out of 300 contestants.

Beng Beng’s father, Mr. Luo, is a hip-hop dancer and he said his son started watching and copying him when he was about 2-years-old. "I usually do handstands at home to stay in shape. When I was exercising, he would imitate me and eventually became better at handstands than me," he said per SAYS.

"He won't respond even if you call him during mealtime. He insists on practicing," Luo continued.

Beng Beng’s diaper during the competition was not merely a style choice. According to Mothership, his parents didn’t want him to have an accident and decided to have him wear a diaper because of the length of the competition.

Given Beng Beng’s hard work and dedication to practice, it’s likely the young dancer has a bright future ahead of him. You can see more of his dance videos here.
