Japanese 2-year-old Murakata Nonoka, popularly known as Nono-chan, has just been awarded a Guinness World Record for being the “Youngest Solo Artist to Release an Album.” Nono-chan released her first album when she was only 2 years and 361 days old. Now 4-years-old, her record has been officially certified and is now published in the Guinness World Records 2023 book.

Nono-chan rose to fame when she won silver in Japan's 35th Nursery Rhyme Children's Song Contest last October. Nono-chan is the youngest in history to win silver.
