Very Asian Partners with WE ARE CHIMMI for a Capsule Collection

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – New York, NY

VERY ASIAN, INC., a leading purpose-led media company that amplifies Asian news, people, and businesses, along with WE ARE CHIMMI, a socially driven accessories brand that donates a portion of profits to causes that support immigrants and marginalized communities, are launching a Capsule Collection that honors their immigrant families and seeks to spread more joy for their community.

The Capsule Collection includes three new socks styles. Two of the styles feature embroideries of WE ARE CHIMMI’s globe icon and Very Asian, Inc.’s newly branded emoji, inspired by Very Asian, Inc. founder Wei Tsay’s childhood. The third style features a “Children of Immigrants” jacquard.

Both brands’ current offerings of select t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats help round out the Capsule Collection. All items will be available for purchase on November 13 at WeAreChimmi.com. The campaign video can also be found at this website.

“Community has always been at the heart of both of our brands. It’s an extension of our family and our home,” said WE ARE CHIMMI co-founder Hoa Huynh.

“Community evokes nostalgia and warmth, encouraging us to walk with greater purpose. Wherever you are going, we hope you feel at home in our collection of socks that will keep you grounded with pride and joy,” said Wei Tsay, founder of Very Asian.

“This collection is a reflection of our immigrant stories which build a stronger foundation for our community,” said WE ARE CHIMMI co-founder Sunny Yoon.

10% of profits from sales will go to CAPE, a non-profit that champions diversity by educating, connecting, and empowering Asian and Pacific Islander artists and leaders in entertainment and media.
