🇻🇳 Okay, Drag Race fans! We’re not done winning yet. Hot off the heels of Nymphia Wind winning ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 16, it has been announced that Vietnamese American @plastiquetiara will compete for the crown in ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ Season 9.

“Adorned in textiles from the indigenous highlands of Vietnam, I step on to the All Stars stage with great pride in the resilience and beauty of my culture,” the iconic performer said upon the reveal of her casting. “I’m not here to simply compete but to uphold the legacy of Asian Excellence.”

The queen previously competed in the main competition during Season 11 but with time comes growth, and it sounds like she’s coming louder and prouder with new energy.

“As a young Vietnamese boy, I shied away from speaking up, fearing I’d be too loud. Drag allowed me to find my voice. Season 11, I was timid of using that voice. Now, back for All Stars 9, I’m determined to roar as loud as possible for all the Asian kids who, like me, once feared speaking out 💎” Plastique Tiara said.

‘All Stars’ Season 9 will stream Friday, May 17 on Paramount+.
