San Francisco reports a 567% increase in anti-Asian and Pacific Islander hate crimes

I hate what’s happening to the beautiful city and people of San Francisco. According to newly released preliminary data, anti-Asian and Pacific Islander hate crimes increased 567% in 2021.

“That’s only people that are reporting those crimes. I know that there are a number of people that are not reporting those crimes,” said San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

As Lunar New Year approaches, several followers have asked that I remind our community to avoid withdrawing and carrying large amounts of cash when alone. Be safe, and look out for your loved ones.
