Chinese auntie goes viral for singing “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max

I’m sorry to Ava Max but this song is no longer hers — it belongs to this Chinese auntie.

According to Mothership, the woman singing is 60-year-old Li De Ru. Li wanted to learn to sing English songs so she began taking lessons with a music teacher twice a week and has now mastered more than 50 songs.

Li’s relatives discouraged her from learning English songs and told her that she didn’t sound good and no one would appreciate them, according to Southern Metropolis Daily

"I don't want to care about what others think. I just want to do what I like to do,” Li told Chinese media. “I didn't sing because I want to become famous but I like English songs. This is my passion so I will persevere regardless of what people say."

Auntie is a vibe — and so are those kitten heels!
