A 6-year-old boy who was attacked by his neighbor with a bat, has passed away
In September, it was reported that Jeremy, a 6-year-old Asian American boy, was attacked in his sleep when a 39-year-old neighbor broke into the family’s Georgetown, TX home and attacked him with a bat. The attack left Jeremy with a shattered skull, fighting for his life.

Florida’s Gov. DeSantis just signed House Bill 1537 into law, requiring Asian American and Pacific Islander history be taught in Florida public schools. Thank you to the folks at Make Us Visible Florida for pushing for this change. But it’s hard to celebrate when DeSantis is using Asian Americans to distract everyone from his ever-growing list of discriminatory laws. Let me be clear: DeSantis is not our friend and he is not our ally.
Asian-owned businesses see a sharp rise in anti-Asian reviews on Yelp
In 2022, Yelp removed 475 reviews targeting Asian-owned businesses that were deemed “hateful, racist, or potentially harmful.” This represents a 5,178% increase from 2021, the highest among any identity group.
